Business Opportunity Search
Section 51.051 of the Texas Business & Commerce Code requires the principal seller of a business opportunity to register the business opportunity with the Office of the Secretary of State before selling or offering for sale a business opportunity. If the seller claims an exemption from registration under �51.003 (b)(8) of the Business & Commerce Code, the seller before offering for sale or selling a franchise in this state must file a notice of exemption with the Office of the Secretary of State.

This site has search capabilities that allow searches to be made for business opportunities that have filed a registration or exemption notice with the Office of the Secretary of State. All fields displayed are searchable.
